More Carousel Rides

Here's another page using the pictures I took of the girls riding the carousel.  Bored yet?  I'm not!  I haven't taken any great family outing pictures in a while, so I will probably be scrapping these ones for years to come...  I made this page as a challenge peice for Glitz Design Blog's May Challenge (http://glitzitnow.blogspot.com/).  Thanks so much for looking!

The goal was to show off your "clustering" skills.  I used a little bit of my whole Glitz Design stash that I have collected over the years.  The paper is from a http://www.scarletlime.com/ kit.  Sometimes I hang on to things waiting for just the right moment to use them.  I am very happy with how this page turned out.  Very vintage, fun and whimsical!

Grandma and Paige

My Mother was so wonderful to take my Paige to the Ogden Temple for Activity Days.  I couldn't go because I work full time.  One of the leaders took this great picture of the two of them!  I am entering it in the http://www.scarletlime.com/ May Challenge paying tribute to my Mother for all of the wonderful things she does for my kids...  Love you Mom!

I kind of mixed kits between http://www.littleredscrapbook.com/ March Kit and a kit from http://www.scarletlime.com/, but I can't remember which one!  LOL.  My absent-mindedness gets the best of me sometimes.  Occassionally I mix them up, and can't remember how to put them back together!  I used some stuff from my personal stash too.  Enjoy!

Carousel Rides

This is the first of many pages to come with pictures of the vintage European carousel.  I LOVED it!  It was so much fun to photograph, and even more fun to scrap!  I used Scarlet Lime's April Main Kit from http://www.scarletlime.com/.  It was perfect for these pictures!  I also used Sketch No. 236 from Pencil Lines at http://www.pencillines.com/.  Enjoy!

Thanks for Being So Sweet!

When my Grandpa Brown passed away a couple of weeks ago, there were a couple of sweet ladies that did some nice thinks for my kids.  One of them was from our Ward, and another one was one of their teachers.  I used http://www.twistedsketches.com/ Card Sketch No. 58, however, this time I didn't add the twist of "laugh".  I needed to make cards thanking them for their sweet gestures of kindness during their time of need.  The alphabet stickers are from Echo Park Paper's "Little Girl" Line and the ice cream stickers are from Jolee's by You.  Thanks so much for looking!
